Overcoming Turnover

Client: Monica Lanter, Salon 7000

Project: Several years ago Monica bought Salon 7000, a well-established salon with many loyal customers. Like many salons, Salon 7000 relied mainly on customer loyalty and word-of-mouth advertising to keep business strong. During the ownership transition process, she experienced a large staff turnover resulting in an unexpected decrease in clients and appointments. Needing to rebuild her clientele and salon reputation in a hurry, Monica quickly learned that word-of-mouth was not good enough.

While searching for alternatives, Monica realized that she needed professional help. She contacted 910 West to help her not only rebuild Salon 7000, but also to grow it larger than ever starting with the website. We eagerly accepted the challenge and started to work right away.

While working with Monica, we suggested that she revamp both the site and current logo to better reflect the changes she was making to the salon. Our efforts increased the usability and legibility of both resulting in a stronger business identity.

Results: After completing the website and logo updates, Monica hired us to update all of the marketing materials for Salon 7000. We worked with her to implement an online marketing campaign that strengthens relationships with her loyal clients and brings in at least 12 new clients every month.

Moinca’s words: Now that the updates are complete, I frequently receive compliments on how easy it is to find our site via Google, City Search, and other search engines—especially from clients who are new to the Phoenix metro area. They often comment on the ease-of-use and accessibility of information on the website.

My work with Jasmine and 910 West has grown from a vendor into a very trusted and valuable member of our team. I am now publishing a monthly email newsletter and am investing in pay-per-click advertising. My online marketing consistently sends twelve new customers through my door each month. My experience with 910 West continues to be communicative and responsive. I can always expect timely delivery.
