Two Facebook Resources to Kick Off 2010

January 9th, 2010 in Blog by Jasmine 1

I’m hearing a lot of chatter from the marketing, social media, and small business gurus that I follow about using Facebook to promote your business. For now, it seems to be the hot place to be. Here are two helpful resources that I found this week:

  • Facebook Marketing: Everything You Need to Know
Not sure if Facebook marketing is right for you? This blog post offers some statistics on the demographic of Facebook users and reasons why you should be using it to promote your business. It recommends the book “Facebook Marketing For Dummies” as the go to source for anyone who wants to create a fan page.
  • How to Enhance Your Facebook Page
Learn the difference between Facebook profiles, fan pages, and groups and how to make the most of yours. “Why settle for plain vanilla default Facebook Pages when you can add a few bells and whistles that actually have value for branding and engagement.” The podcast also includes a few good examples of Fan Pages to check out for inspiration.
